Ms Julia Melamed is a co founder of Haiti Stole My Heart Foundation® . She is a renowned business leader and entrepreneur in Australia. She was born in Eastern Europe and moved to Australia in her teens.
She is currently the founder and Chairman of multiple successful Australian and international companies. This includes one based in Haiti.
After visiting Haiti on business, she saw for herself the extreme level of poverty. It was at this point she decided she had to do something about it. She now devotes much of her time to improving the lives of the Haiti people. She has already been involved in several charity projects in Haiti. These projects include organic honey production, medical facilities and better skin care.
These projects have created real improvements in the lives of Haitians
Ms Melamed is also a member of the Haitian based charity OS (Organisation Support). Her strong entrepreneurial and business skills means she has the expertise to empower the Haitian people to break the cycle of poverty.
